Approach to Counseling
Have you ever had the experience of driving your car through a downpour so heavy that you struggled to even see the car right in front of you? Or have you ever had the piercing light of the evening sun blind you so completely that you thought you might run off the road? Life at times can leave us feeling like this – blinded and struggling to see our way clearly. It’s times like these when we could most use an extra pair of eyes and a companion for our journey. Sindhu believes that no one is called to journey through this life alone, and she is passionate about empowering people to navigate the tough terrain of their lives.

Sindhu has experience counseling in the following areas:

  • Global Counseling Initiative – Research Intern (2010-2011)
  • Emmanuel Hospital Association – HIV/AIDS Counselor and Trainer for several EHA hospitals in North India. (2003-2004)


  • M.A.  in Counseling- Dallas Theological Seminary (2009)
  • Master in Social Work- Nirmala Niketan, School of Social Work. Mumbai, India (2003)

Born to fulltime bible translators and missionary parents to India, Sindhu spent her formative years in a remote tribal village while her parents translated the Scriptures into their unwritten language and communicated the Good News of Christ to them.The selfless example of her parents and her immersion into the lives of hurting people from all walks of life - from India to the U.S. has had a significant impact on shaping Sindhu and cultivating her love for people and service to them.

Sindhu delights in being a wife to her husband Robert. She also enjoys painting, cooking, reading and snuggling with her cat, Nat.
